David Rusanow is an esteemed director and cinematographer based in Melbourne, Australia.

Recognized for his outstanding work as a Director of Photography, David has received numerous accolades, including prestigious awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society. In 2009, he earned the Kodak Award for New Director of the Year in Advertising.

He was also selected to attend the prestigious Budapest Cinematographers Masterclass in Hungary the same year.

With a keen aesthetic vision, David meticulously applies his extensive cinematography experience to produce visually striking moving pictures. His expertise and distinctive style make him a sought-after DOP, consistently delivering exceptional results across various projects, including music videos, TV commercials, and narrative films. His diverse client list includes BHP, Intel, Sony, Tourism Victoria, Mazda, BBC, and VICE.

Operating seamlessly across continents, David frequently takes on assignments in Australia, Asia, and Europe. Holding dual citizenship with Australia and the United Kingdom, he is capable of going anywhere a job takes him. 

David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film & TV from the renowned Victorian College of the Arts and is a valued member of the Australian Cinematographers Society.
